Due to RIBO licensing and continuing education requirements, coursework is an important part of every independent insurance broker's career. IBAO members have access to the highest possible quality education thanks to the ongoing work of the Association's Education Department.

Whether you are just beginning studies to become a licensed insurance broker or you are a seasoned professional ready to tackle an advanced educational challenge, IBAO offers you the appropriate courses. New seminars and courses are developed as the need arises and then publicized to members.

Members pay lower fees and receive educational programs specifically designed to meet the needs of brokers. Educational programs are available at IBAO's School of Insurance in Toronto, at community colleges and other offsite locations across Ontario (view current course offerings on our event calendar), on video, and as correspondence courses. In addition, IBAO will develop customized education programs for in-house presentation at your brokerage.
